For more than 60 years I've been shooting and processing photos using a variety of camera models, darkroom equipment, and photographic software. My training includes multiple courses on photography, including the New York Institute of Photography's Complete Course in Professional Photography. Instinct and technical skill have helped me develop my professional approach to photography, as follows:
1. Get to know my subjects. Determine creative, flattering compositions and use multiple camera settings, whether photographing a person, a kitchen counter, or a landscape.
2. Capture a wide variety of pictures during a photoshoot. Use creative angles, multiple lenses and filters, and varied exposure, from which to select the best photos for final editing using Photoshop Elements and Topaz Labs software.
3. Create sharp, properly exposed photographs, using an excellent large sensor digital camera, quality lenses, and superior flash and lighting products.
